Scot McKnight returns as our guest speaker

Scot McKnight, our speaker, is a recognized authority on the New Testament, early Christianity, and the historical Jesus. McKnight, author of more than thirty books, is the Professor of New Testament at Northern Seminary in Lombard, IL. Dr. McKnight has given interviews on radios across the nation, has appeared on television, and is regularly speaks at local churches, conferences, colleges, and seminaries in the USA and abroad.
Some of the books Scot has written include: The Jesus Creed: Loving God, Loving Others, (which won the Christianity Today book of the year for Christian Living), Embracing Grace: A Gospel for All of Us, and The Blue Parakeet: Rethinking How You Read the Bible. Most recently, McKnight wrote a commentary on James, and a book on discipleship called One. Life: Jesus Calls, We Follow.
He and his wife, Kristen, live in Libertyville, Illinois. They enjoy traveling, long walks, gardening, and cooking. They have two adult children, Laura (married to Mark Barringer) and Lukas (married to Annika Nelson), and two grandchildren: Aksel and Finley.
In addition to our presenter, special programs will be planned for youth, children, and infants, this is an event for the whole family! Please plan on making this event part of your fall activities, every year is full of joyful surprises and wonderful times of growth and fellowship!
